Born in Bologna in June 1960. Graduated in Law from the University of Bologna in February 1984 magna cum laude, and has been a member of the Bar Association since 1986. She has also studied at the Universities of Munster and Hannover.
She has collaborated in research and teaching activities in the field of Constitutional Law at the University of Bologna and in Administrative Law at the Universities of Pavia and Milan, publishing essays and entries in legal encyclopedias.
During her professional activities, both in litigation, particularly before Regional Administrative Courts and the Council of State, and out-of-court work including matters related to the legal aspects of corporate operations. She has developed specific expertise in the field of public procurement – also in German-speaking jurisdictions – environmental law, energy, telecommunications, administrative health law, and urban planning, participating in the drafting of general planning instruments. She has also gained particular experience as a Member of Arbitration Panels.
Since 2017, she has published articles for The Law Reviews in the section dedicated to Italy, including "The Energy Regulation and Markets Review" and "Environment and Climate Change." Since 2021, she has also contributed to Chambers and Partners on "Public Procurement and Government Contracts."
She is a member of the online group "Civil Justice."
She conducts courses and seminars, including for the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Milan, frequently serving as a "Guest Critic."
She is recognized among the leading professionals in public law in Italy by Legal500 and Chambers Europe.
